Sometimes we have to take a break and just appreciate the beauty around us. I looked out at the back yard this morning and was amazed at all the color. And it lasts such a short time. There is a lesson in that for me for sure. I need to appreciate the people and places in my life which can so easily be taken for granted.
As husband John has said so many times, we are surrounded by world class beauty right here in Rockford. I am aware of that taking my early morning walks along the Rock River or enjoying our morning coffee talks out on the patio.
